Happy Canada Day, eh!!!
I’m celebrating our beautiful country today by making a red and white watermelon salad for lunch.
Did you know that watermelon is intensely hydrating, cleansing and detoxifying? A perfect food to nourish our bodies during the summer months.
Here is my yummy, healthy and easy watermelon salad:
- One watermelon, cubed
- One package Salt Spring goat cheese, flavour your choice (I like herbed), cubed
- 4 sprigs fresh basil, torn into small pieces
- Balsamic vinegar drizzled over salad
