Into the Woods

I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived. – Thoreau

  1. Thank you for sharing the fabulous pictures and the oh, so true quotes — my favorite is the final one by John Muir “beauty as well as bread.” My children and I need to be out in nature daily, just as we need to eat daily!

    • Thanks Lee! Glad you enjoyed them. I hadn’t been on a hike or in the forest for about six months before this and I had literally forgotten how much I love it and how happy being in the quietness of nature makes me.

    • Nope, no witch in the woods Dennis. There are pretty little fairies and gnomes though. You should get your dad to take you for a big hike in the woods so you can see for yourself xo
